Since 2020, Hedda is studying Umweltgeographie und –management (M.Sc.) at Kiel University. Here she also completed her Bachelor studies in geography with the focus on zoology, coastal systems and climate change. During her Bachelor studies, her main interest laid with the potentials and limits of nature-based coastal protection.
Since March 2020, she works as a scientific assistant in the working group CRSLR. Currently she is involved in modelling inundation scenarios and socio-economic impacts of sea level rise on coastal areas and in modelling the development of urban exposure to sea level rise.
